surfingnewport: love the ocean

Easy going, down to earth, friendly guy here. I have been described as a caring, thoughtful, gentle, respectful person who values honesty, integrity, friendships, and family, and last but not least a healthy spiritual condition. I love animals, especially dogs. I am passionate about surfing as I use to be a member of the NSSA National team back in 1988/89. Amazing how time has flown by. I served in the Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne division for 3 years in the mid to late 90's. I enjoy volunteering at the V A hospital in Long Beach from time to time. I am currently pursuing my education at the moment, in school full-time. I am fascinated with Astronomy and love looking at the night sky. I love tropical places like Hawaii, Central America, and Puerto Rico. I also love the mountains and just being in nature in general.
