Life is enjoyable for me at the shore--with friends, beautiful scenery, and music--I love all kinds of live music. I'm an articulate, committee trustee of my local library which is fun, since as a writer I love books, and I also like working in teams. My only regret about leaving NYC a few years ago is that I'm not near opera. I used to live near Lincoln Center so I could spoil myself going to classical music and opera whenever I had the time and resources. Now once I hear the simulcasts from the Met, but it's not the same. I also miss the variety of food and art in NYC; but I love the peace and quiet here, and sometimes take time to sketch (both my parents were artists) or photograph flowers. My biggest frustration, though, is I haven't found enough people to talk to about the events of the day, movies, history, on and on. As a writer, even after a few decades, I can't help being full of curiosity and enthusiasm about life.
