I am looking for my second chance in life. I feel blessed to have learned so much from my past mistakes and the insight I have gained has been invaluable. I am looking for honesty and someone who is serious about what it takes to really make a relationship work. I am looking to find someone who backs words with action and someone with 'staying power'. Myself, I am fairly simple. I do not take myself too seriously and I have a very dry sense of humor. There is not much in life that bugs me (with the exception of laundry) and I tend to always look at the positive side of things (with the exception of laundry). I would rather explore someplace new than continue down the same old path, but that doesn't mean that I do not cherish the familiar. I have a large group of friends and we have known each other since grade school. My family is important to me and I take pride in being a single mother. My philosophy on kids is that they should always be smiling! Let the hardships of life come when they are older, as childhood is so short in the grand scheme of things. I am kind-of a 'jack of all trades, and a master of none' type of girl. I will try anything once and I don't sweat the small stuff. I grew up out-of-doors and I have always seen the beauty in that. I am a person that can look past stereotypes and differences and it's very important that the person I am with can do the same. I really dislike people who judge others or put people down without trying to understand the person first.
