I'm a writer, editor and multimedia professional with a passion for the nuances of language and culture. I'm a former journo now headed down a more business-oriented career path having just accepted a new position. I also plan on pursuing my MBA in the near future. While I'm ambitious and career-oriented, I am, at heart, family-devoted. Everything I do is for the sake of my daughter who is, quite simply, the light in my eyes. Besides spending time with my little one, writing brings me joy. I'm nearly done with my first book--a science fiction work inspired by space, Southern Gothic literature and Greek mythology, among other things I think are cool. :)As for what I'm looking for in a match, I value intelligence, loyalty, quiet strength and deeply-rooted sensuality. In other words, big, grumpy teddy bears with a soft spot for romance are very welcomed. ;) I tend to prefer more mature men, mostly because I relate to them better, but I am always looking to expand my horizons. In my opinion, chemistry is organic and not easily measured through an online profile. If the attraction and interest are there, let's skip the three weeks of texting, meet for coffee and get to know each other face to face. :)
