I am an intelligent, caring, kind, down to earth woman that is missing my partner in crime. I am a total science nerd, extremely sarcastic, and a total goofball. I don't get embarrassed easily, but I really enjoy embarrassing my friends and kids! I love trivia especially when I win. I like to turn on music while I am cooking and usually end up having a dance party. I love live music. I love getting all dolled up and going out for drinks and a bite to eat. I love Denver and Boulder but nothing beats Summit County.I grew up on Coronado Island in San Diego, CA so I surfed and swam in the ocean a couple times a week and I miss it! I moved to Colorado with a friend from high school to snowboard for a season and I never left. I was married and had twins that are now 19 years old and my youngest son is now 14. They have their own lives and are starting to figure out the world for themselves, it is really neat to watch.So....I am just like most girls in Colorado. I love the outdoors, it's why I live here! There is so much of Colorado I have yet to experience. I snowboard...a lot! I love to snowboard with anyone that will ride with me. I like to go big! I have dislocated my shoulder and put many scrapes and holes in my helmet. I camp and hike and swim and snowshoe and...and... I like to push myself physically and mentally. I like to do things I am scared of (diving with sharks) because after I do it I realize how awesome it was and how silly my fear was. Next up, skydiving (I am terrified of heights).I have begun to notice that life is getting shorter and there is so much I want to do and I would love to find someone that wants to join me in doing and experiencing the extraordinary. I also want him to bring interesting ideas and adventures to the table.I am a girl who loves dogs. I will stop and pet all dogs that walk by me. I have a special love for English Bulldogs. My bulldog, Murray passed away and I am in the market for Murray no. 2. I rescued a pit bull puppy last year and he is the sweetest dog I have ever met. I also share custody of a 140 lb lab and my dogs frequently sleep in bed with me! I don't mind the snoring. I have not been on a real date in 2 years and I am really excited to get back out there. I tried match for a couple months but never connected with anyone and so I am giving it another try. I love going out to dinner or grabbing drinks. I frequently search groupon or living social to see if they have anything interesting to do in Denver or Boulder. I love to cook but really love it when someone cooks for me. I love wine! I am in to Italian wines right now and learning as much as I can about them. I have 2 undergrad degrees. A B.S./B.A In Biology/Chemistry and a B.S. In Business Admin. I am not sure what I want to do next but I do want a graduate degree. I have had some really cool jobs. I was a forensic autopsy tech in the morgue and loved it! I processed cadaver donations for transplant. I worked on research projects in parasitology and endocrinology.
