I tutor children after school in piano, guitar, voice, and drums.I am currently a music student studying composition. I started studying and performing music seriously in 2007 after I graduated high school. My goals are to finish school in the next year and start finding work in my desired profession.The possibility of making music my profession used to be far removed from my thoughts; yet now I can not think of any other career that would make me happy. I have a well-rounded appreciation of all types of music, from hip hop to classical. Music provides me a world of my own; an intellectual and artistic sanctuary that no one could take away from me or demean. Through music, I can express all that is tumultuous, anxious, wild, agitated and defiant in me. Before I came to Riverside, I was a wildlife biologist, which instilled in me a love of ornithology. I spend my free time enjoying nature and hiking.
