A few fun and interesting facts about me.Like most everyone else, my children are the most important people in my life. I love travel (who doesn't), I'm just as comfortable dressing up as I am in jeans, I enjoy music, blah, blah, blah. But beyond that, and in no particular order... I am fascinated by what's above me, whether it's big white puffy clouds, the canopy of tall pines in a forest, a flock of birds flying together in sync, or the full moon on the horizon. It reminds me of how beautiful this earth is. I don't mind going out to eat by myself - in fact I do, often. On work nights, I'm only good until around 8:00 pm (which is when I start to fade), but that's only because I've been up since 5 am, which I consider an ungodly hour to be awake. Weekends are another story. I like to stay up late, because I can, and sleep in the next morning. I like to cook and I'm really good at it. Cooking for someone is one of the ways I show my love. You know you're 'in' if I cook for you. I'm an introvert, but not shy. I'm sensitive, so I don't do well with people who are moody or have tempers. I'm liberal in my views, dislike reality shows, struggle with small talk (let's talk about the meaning of life instead), and am fiercely loyal to my family. I'm not sure what I believe anymore when it comes to the existence of god, but I do know I have a deep need for spiritual grounding, which I find when I go camping, or anywhere in nature away from people, buildings and cars. I love the idea of being creative, but I suffer from stifled imagination, so I end up by staring at a blank page for hours before I finally give up. I'm reserved and guarded until I determine if you are friend or foe. Once comfortable, reservation turns to warmth, friendliness and laughter. I can have an irreverent sense of humor at times. I'm not jealous person, so if you're still friends with your ex, that's okay with me because I've remained friends with mine. I'm pretty independent and not clingy. You are free to spend time with your friends or pursue your own interest(s), as long as we make time for each other as well. It's a balance of retaining individuality while merging together as a couple. I have a close family of mostly women, so when we're together, the wine, laughter and estrogen flows freely. Speaking of wine, I love red wine... a lot. LOL
