First of all, if you want someone to make you laugh, be loyal, be honest, be your protector, treat you like an equal, care about you, and spend his waking hours trying to bring a smile to your face, I'm your guy! Same goes if you want a "bad boy"(at our age, you are just looking to hold on to your high school days with a Jax/Justin Beaver/Shaggy look-a-like) Shallowness goes deep! I might sound angery, and I might be in a way. But I'm just tired of the games. Live isn't about settling its about priorities and finding out what priorities we really want. If you want a guy to have a six pack abs, sorry, but I am willing to run down to the grocery store in a pouring cold rain to get a six pack of your favorite soda if you run out in the middle of the night. I'm clean cut, high and tight, freshly shaven, pressed clothes, and a gentleman! I'm lovable, huggable, and snuggable! I love to cuddle on the couch. Friends call me JerBear. I'm "husky"! But I don't have any medical problems, I workout and keep healthy. I lift weights, bike, and stretch/yoga. Im' very agile and graceful. I do judo also, which keeps me loose. But I'm more than a teddy bear! I'm confident, but not****. I love life and want to enjoy every minute of it. I'm the type of guy that can work in the fields all day, then clean up and go to dinner. I'm equally comfortable at a flea market or opera. I'm smarter than the average teddy bear! I normally have two books going at once; a classic like Homer or Dantes and a lighter read having to do with Anita Blake, vampire hunter in modern day St Lou or something equally as crazy. Current books are Chancer's Tales and Bigfoot Wars! I was raised gentleman and I know how to treat a lady. If you go with me, expect your door to be opened, your chair pulled out for you, and an arm offered when we stroll. Haven't had to defend anyone's honor yet, but carry a sword just in case. If you don't want me to get all romantic era on them, I can hold my own slapping them with some gloves. But I don't always have a pair. I worked the last 21 years in corrections. Still working and really like it. I guess I excel in an abnormal environment. I'm funnier than hell! I have wit and delivery. What can I say, was raised up watching Benny Hill, Monty Python, and SNL. I have been divorced and on my own for the last four years. I'm independent and can take care of myself. Mama taught her baby boy how to keep house, cook, clean, and do laundry. Well, the USAF helped put it into practice, but Mama did most of the teaching. I have three kids that live with their mother. I love kids. And I understand that they come with lady, I have no problem including them in our plans. I think I would make someone a great Step Dad. I know I will never replace their Dad, and I shouldn't. But I consider myself a very positive male influence. I am looking for a smart, strong, independent lady that wants to have fun in life. She needs to be complete and happy with herself and her life. If you are still pissed at your ex or not ready to date, don't waste my time. I want to be wanted, not needed. I nor anyone can complete you. But if we can supplement each other! I do love my alone time! But I find I like the company of a beautiful and smart lady as well. My lady friends say I'm a great guy and a wonderful catch. And I'm sure they would date me if they didn't already have someone better! :) I was raised in a loving single parent home and have a set of good, solid morals. Mama Bear worked hard and long hours putting a roof over my head and food on the table. The least I can go is note this here! She raised me by herself and raises my standards for the lady in my life and how I treat her.
