I'm a bit of a daydreamer and shy. Much of my life has been spent pursuing stories in one form or another. I grew up with my nose buried in a book more often than not. Mostly, I read fantasy novels, but I've been branching out a bit as I've gotten older. I also enjoy video and board games; preferably ones that are story driven, and where I can bring my imagination. I do like movies and some television shows as well. I was a big baseball fan growing up. I still follow sports, but it doesn't hold my interest as much as it used to.Musically, my first real interest all my own was 80s synth-pop; Information Society, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, and the like. That developed into a taste for electronic music in other forms. These days, I lean towards Goth/Industrial; The Cruxshadows, Assemblage 23, VNV Nation, Ego Likeness. I do also believe I have an appreciation for a much broader spectrum of music. I worked in a music store for a number of years.I can be a little hesitant when meeting someone new, but I believe I can more than hold up a conversation once I get into it and bring a sense of humor into it. I like finding new things to do, but often I hesitate to go out on my own. I've found that I'm pretty open to all kinds of new experiences when I have someone to share them with. Looking for someone who's a bit adventurous, values the "friend" in boyfriend/girlfriend and who's into intelligent conversation.
