While I might not be the right person for you, nor you for me, I do believe there's someone for everyone. My sincere wish for everyone (with honorable intentions) finds that perfect person. I'm generally too busy working to engage in a lot of hobbies. I like hanging out with friends, going to dinner, listening to great music. My taste in music is eclectic, from bluegrass to country to rock. I'm big on the Eagles, Van Morrison and Rod Stewart, but I've been on a country kick lately. I love great conversation. There's really nothing better than sitting and talking about almost anything and everything.I'm not really a diva, but I am a girlie type girl. I like to dress well and look nice, and none of the other options really fit. I'm well mannered and have excellent social skills. I have the ability to be equally comfortable wearing boots and jeans having chicken at Eischens or dressed up and dining at Vast. I don't lie, and I don't play games. What you see is pretty much what you get, good, bad or indifferent. I'm genuinely nice, sincere and honest. Often people make the mistake of confusing nice with stupid, and that's a dangerous mistake. I'm intelligent, and my bullsh*tdetector works just fine. I have deep faith in God, and I do attend church regularly, but I'm not a fanatic. I don't need a partner to share my spiritual quest, but I do need one who supports me in that.I don't date widowers. Sorry. Been there; done that. I not only have a wardrobe of t-shirts but a statue (metaphorical) that would fill my front yard. If you are a widower reading this, I wish you well, and I'm sure your late wife was a perfectly lovely woman. I think it's important to discuss previous marriages and other important relationships. At this point in our lives, we all have those, but I don't want to spend the next 20 or so years hearing about how great the dead wife was. If you aren't ready to stop talking about her continually and making comparisons; you're not ready for a new relationship.
