I love being in West Virginia. The winters are harsh but once you get beyond that cold exterior, it's so lovely. Gorgeous mountains to travel through on foot, 4 wheeler, bicycle or vehicle. The summers are gentle and provide lower levels of humidity, allowing you to spend most of your days outside, enjoying life to it's fullest. You can camp, fish, play ball, stroll your neighborhood, go for a swim and even have cookouts. Those are the things that can be enjoyed throughout the year and I love them all but I love finding new restaurants, going to a new art gallery, a show, to dinner or getting cozy in front of the tv for an evening. I like a small sports bar for trivia contest and for the interaction with the entire place, I enjoy bowling even though I usually can't score over 115. However, I love the beach! I been to several from the Jersey shore to Myrtle Beach and I have a favorite on every shore. I have 2 adult sons and I have 6 grand kids and they're wonderfully exhausting. I have a multi colored cat that I rescued when she was just a little bitty thing and she decided to take me hostage. I knew a dog that was being caged up 22-23 hours a day, I started getting permission to spend time with him out of that cage, and then he took me hostage too. These 2 have taken over my home and heart.
