Easy going with a good sense of humor. I love to laugh and my friends tell me I have a great sense of humor and quick wit. My youngest left for college this fall. I have enjoyed watching my two children grow up and have been an active participant in their lives. Not a helicopter parent. I am happy and excited for this phase of my life. I believe it takes honest, open communication to make any relationship work. Honest, thoughtful and generous, I have a master's degree in performing arts although it's not what I do for a living. I can appreciate any music, as long as it is good. Of course "good" is a subjective term. Music is food for the soul. I try to stay active, and looking forward to winter for hiking, snowshoeing and all that the four seasons of New England have to offer. And then about February, will be ready to get the heck some place warm for a vacation!!I am open to trying anything once, sometimes ordering the most unusual item on the menu. Barcelona in West Hartford is good for this technique. I have a wide range of interests including receiving my pilot's license last spring, '13. Whether it is the beach, hiking, out to dinner, club, concert, sporting event or relaxing on the couch with a good bottle of wine, it's the company that makes it worthwhile. I'm looking for someone who is at ease, comfortable and happy with who they are.
