I'm goofy, laid back, and easy going. I don't let things bother me and have fun with pretty much anything! I do have a passion and intensity for yoga and talking about life, following your path, living in the moment, but my nature remains more carefree!I own a small yoga studio, so I'm learning how to run a business and as much as I can about yoga, in terms of poses, tradition, philosophy and spirituality. It's very much my career, but also my hobby, which makes my life extremely enjoyable! I am excited to further my teaching practice with different training opportunities, to see where it takes me and my career.I always have my nose in a book, usually for yoga, but have always loved (used) books and libraries. Some fiction favorites though are The Hobbit, The Book Thief, and I have to admit, Harry Potter.I am a yogi, so ambient sounds/music is inspiring, but my go-to is alternative (Breaking Benjamin, Matthew Good Band), and I have a weakness for techno.I spend a lot of time making snacks and meals. I participate in local CSA's, so time spent with food is meaningful and therapeutic, plus it takes a lot of time to preserve the food. It's that or throw it away!A couple unique things about me - I don't watch TV; I watch movies, but don't have cable, so I'm really not versed in a lot of the shows people talk about now and I'm known for cleaning up red wine spills...I'm the first to react and pour a bottle of water all over you!
