I moved to Staten Island when planning for my retirement from my career as a NYC RN. Also a painter, I was able to continue my creative work while nursing and raising my family in Manhattan. Life is less crowded now although I still enjoy my interests in art and science. Cooking, baking and homemaking are pleasures for me. I love travelling in both hemispheres and I've always been close to animals-especially dogs.I have no interest in clubs, bars or loud parties. I enjoy exercising my mind, my body and my spirit. I am not as adept writing a profile as many that I've read. I think the best way to meet someone is in person. Long e-mails and lengthy phone conversations are tedious. It feels like a job interview before we've actually met.
