I have always winced at the thought of online dating… but in the name of open-mindedness, here goes. I make it a point to find the time for doing the things I like and spending the time with people who I care about. I like people who have brains, humor and wit, self-confidence, strength of character, and those who have been through some trials in life and pushed through it .I think video games are somewhat retarding our world. I want to see more kids cut up and bruised from climbing trees and riding bikes in lieu of sitting obese in front of the TV or a computer being conditioned for army drone piloting. I disapprove of joining cults and bad cover bands. I believe in making one's own destiny and karaoke. I believe in playing with children, camp-outs, and learning a second language. I like beautiful photographs and silly off the wall conversations. I am uninterested in the seriously twisted. The mildly twisted intrigue me. I am interested in the feel and smell of real books. I prefer simplicity to keeping up with the Jones. I am interested in any music that moves one, physically and/or emotionally and this excludes the sort that encourages one to buy a gun or beat someone to a pulp. I believe in thrift stores, fly fishing, and Chuck Taylors. I also believe my heels and girly sandals are essential in any hurricane emergency kit. I am interested in smart asses,challenging conversations, being in the company of someone where silence is not awkward, and comfortable movie nights on the couch with someone special.If any of this sparks your interest, then I would love to hear from you.
