I am hoping to find someone fun and happy and outgoing and FUN! I want to hang out with on the weekends and play a game of pool, maybe have a couple drinks, eat Chinese and watch a scary movies. I have a big personality, and I am very social, however I do not deal well with huge crowds, say at a concert or amusement park unless I am totally confident you wont lose me ;)I am a girly girl most of the time, I like looking feminine and wearing heels, but I am not afraid to get dirty, or put the worm on the hook ;) I grew up on LI, and I went to 13 years of private Catholic school, played soccer, was an Irish step dancer and a Dressage competitor. My dad owned a gun shop growing up, so I am also a pretty good shot. I have been called a "Princess" in good ways and not such good ways since people often judge me by my upbringing and assume I am high maintenance. I assure you I am not. Along with the LI lifestyle, I also grew up hunting and of course fishing, we had a cabin in upstate NY and I have camped across the country and back, visiting almost every state. I have visited relatives in Ireland several times as well, but there are lots more countries I would like to see.On a regular day I resemble a yuppy soccer mom. I have been to cotillions, Marine Corp. Balls, and coming out parties, but I have also been a pseudo biker chick, gotten tattoos, and love a good dive bar with darts and pool where I can wear jeans and boots and drink whiskey with the big boys. I have attended college, on a few occasions, been a business owner, a law enforcement officer, tended bar, and a homemaker, among a bunch of other things. I do a lot of things as personal challenges and if I could afford it I would be a professional student. I still have my NY accent, which I have practiced to tone down, but which gets stronger if I get excited, or have too much coffee or alcohol. I tend to talk with my hands and I interrupt often, but it was how we got to say anything growing up and it's not done intentionally to be rude. I can also sometimes speak too loudly when I am having a good time. I love to laugh and make people laugh and I have a witty sarcastic sense of humor or so I am told, but I do get a tad moody here and there, it seems like about once a month but I can't be sure ;)Physically, I have long reddish hair, blue eyes, freckles, and I am very fair, 100% Irish. I am currently about 15 pounds over what I would like to be and I am between a size 10-12, and curvy (like Anna Nicole Smith) and it would be awesome to meet someone local who can whip me back into shape, no pun intended ;)I am a real woman, who has lived a real life and I have scars, both external and internal from life and children, although I am not weighed down by them. So if your looking for the perfect Barbie, keep looking, because at my age, those are few and far between. You MIGHT find them riding Unicorns across rainbows. I have 4 medium to large tattoos and I will probably get a couple more done in the future, so if you can't stand a woman with tats, they aren't going to wash off. I do not smoke tobacco, I drink alcohol, usually a glass of red wine a day.I'm usually attracted to rugged men, or men with unconventional looks. I like men who are Alpha's and Dominant in an understated but understood way and who have a sure sense of self. I also like men who are unique in there appearance and style and do not conform to social pressure or "norms". But, I have found that what people are "normally" attracted to can go out the window in a heart beat if there is a spark, unfortunately that's hard to find out on a dating site since the first impression is a picture and a few words on a screen.I never care about income, car, clothes labels, etc. for the man I date, I care mostly about honesty, loyalty, good intentions, character, someone who smells good and above all humor! Oh, unless you ride a bike, then it better be a HD, Indian or Triumph, just sayin'. Whew! I wonder how many men actually get down this far!?!
