I am probably a throw back in time - a classical guy with old values of respect, politeness, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I am never rude, never inconsiderate, and believe chivalry is still alive and well. I prefer to call than to text, though I realize the convenience and necessity of text, but I like to hear the sensation of a human voice. I am a writer and art promoter. My free time is spent traveling in the world of Hellenic philosophy and art, history, and classical literature. I read about 60 to 70 books a year, so don't ask me about what is going on in TV land.I am of Caribbean background, with formative years in Europe, the US as a teen and early twenties, then back to Europe for late twenties and all of my thirties, after which I returned to New York. I am bilingual French and own four passports so life for me is a relative experience across different cultures, therefore I can't take myself too seriously since what is serious in one place maybe laughable in another.
