I am full of can-do power!!!! Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them -- a desire, a dream, a vision.Life is a win-win situation. You have got to make the most out of it. You can waste your time complaining and seeing the glass as half-empty or you can take charge of your attitude and go for the win. I think sometimes we concentrate on what we don't have and neglect to see all that we really do. God has blessed me with many accomplishments and opportunities. I served my country and was an airborne soldier for 3 years. Lived my dream of running NCAA track in college for 4 years. Was blessed to pledge one of the most incredible sororities - SIGMA GAMMA RHO, INC. (EEEEEEE-YIP!) and to become sisters with some of the most uplifting, strong and positive women I have ever met. I have been a nationally ranked bodybuilder and am still in great shape. My passion is life and spending time with others. I have made some incredible connections with some of my students and I have probably benefitted more from them than they have from me. Commitment, dedication and hard work are the foundations of my character. What's the point of doing something if you don't give it 110%? I have been told that I am a passionate person and I take that as a compliment. Michael Irwin said in his 2007 NFL Hall of Fame Induction speech "Look up. Get up. Don't ever give up." I try to live his motto daily.I try to keep a positive outlook about life. I'm a coach and a teacher and whether I like it or not a role model. God has given us all a very special gift that no one else has. How amazing is that???? I know my gift is to build relationships and to be a Champion for young people. Knowing this, I embrace being a role model and my goal everyday is to leave my students with the internal knowledge that they are uniquely and wonderfully made.. A master creation unduplicated. I am a Christian and will take every opportunity to brag on God's amazing love!!! He has blessed me with so many gifts that at times it can be a bit overwhelming just to comprehend the depth of His love!! Every time I fall, every time I fail, every time I don't live up to my potential, He whispers "try again". I am so blessed He has led me to Lakewood Church and volunteering weekly at a day homeless center helping to serve hot lunches. I love to kiss... I love to watch sports with hot pizza and cold beer (on my cheat meal days!!).. I love a hot bath at the end of a long day with a cold glass of wine. I believe a woman's most powerful weapon is her ability to communicate. I love being my man's cheerleader and making him feel like there isn't anything he can't do! I love r&b, old skool rap and hip hop, jazz and neo-soul. My playlist includes James Fortune, Kirk Franklin, Kem, Jill Scott, Kindred the Family Soul, David Anthony, Eryka Badu, Tweet, Luther, Avant, WillDowning, Sade, Tank, Ne-Yo, and the list goes on and on. Nothing beats getting in the car with music playing nonstop and just driving... Getting lost on the sound. I am a bodybuilder... so keeping fit and training are important to me. I love spoiling my man with little surprises and making him feel special. Trust me, if you're with me.., its going to kill you the days you don't see me. And btw... Guys.... Confidence is the most sexiest thing a woman can wear!!I am a package deal! I have a 4 year old deaf Great Dane named Sidney Crosby. Bonus points if you know who that is. She is a very sweet small pony who is always waiting at home with a stuffie in her mouth and a wagging tail when I walk through the door.
