Hello there. I recently moved back to the Midwest after 15 years in Portland, Oregon. I am looking to change up my life, get a promising job, and enjoy living in Chicago. Professionally I am a writer, but I also work in restaurants because writing does not currently pay my bills. I like doing interesting stuff, going places, and talking. TV is okay at night, but I do not want to watch the Simpsons box set on a Saturday afternoon. I should probably mention that I recently quit drinking after being a total party girl for over a decade. Thankfully this did not do a number on my looks or my liver, it just temporarily squashed my ambitions. Anyway, I mention this because I am not a great candidate if you want to hang out at bars, although I absolutely don't mind the occasional beer drinker. Currently I am living in the suburbs until I can find a job, then an apartment, so I am looking for some occasional fun to break up my days of staring at the computer.
