Hello - I am just starting to explore dating again and I feel a little nervous,awkward, as well as a bit excited. At 49, I am starting to feel the empty nest, and spending time getting to rediscover the woman inside of me. I am open to exploring the companionship of a like minded man. Someone who is at a place where they might enjoy living life "paying it forward" with me. I am more of a "girly girl" but yet have been independent, responsible and self-sufficient for many years, raising my children on my own, doing what needs to be done...... although not always enjoying it ( power tools are definitely not my thing!! but can use them if I had to). I do not know if it sounds old fashioned or not, but I do believe that men and woman are uniquely different and bring our own inherent qualities to the table that are organically complimentary. I believe in chivalry as much as I believe that a lady, should act like one and be one. I haven't been camping in years but would love to do that again. I have no problem admitting that I would feel much safer and enjoy the experience much more with that one special man by my side. I am more country than city, but enjoy art and museums as much as I do growing my own vegetables. I know this is lengthy but I am an amatuer writer for my own pleasure - so I can get on a roll and dont know when to get off. (asset or character flow depends on the individual).One last thing, and it is not by accident that I put it at the end. :) I really do not respond to IM's/chatting, I apologize in advance.
