I recently met one of my long-term goals, and celebrated by going skydiving. As I was plummeting to the ground I thought, "This is AMAZING! I can't wait to do it again, and share this experience with somebody special." Actually, there wasn't enough time to think that. But if there were, I definitely would have thought that. And OK, I was skydiving with my sister, who is special, but you know what I mean. What I'm trying to explain is that I'm living a life that I love, but it would be even better if I had somebody to share it with. I have a stable job as a supervisor, my own place, and great friends and family. I want to share it all with somebody who values connecting with people, is quick to laugh, and will call me out when I'm being too sarcastic. My friends sometimes tease me for not going out enough, but the truth is that when I'm not cycling, fishing, or golfing I just really love unwinding with a good movie. And, as somebody who values honesty, I have to confess that I particularly enjoy video games. All men do, I'm just man enough to admit it. If you don't share this hobby of mine, let me know what you love and I'll be happy to indulge. When it comes to people I care about I go the extra mile. Come join me on the golf course (don't play? I'd be happy to teach you!) and we can compete for the worst score. We both win if it leads to friendship and something more.
