I just moved to Michigan from Florida. My stepfather divorced my mom after close to 20 years together. My mom did not take this very well emotionally, due to how it ended. When the marriage did end, my mom decided the only place she had any family was in Michigan and so; we headed north. This was one of the scariest times of my life because the whole trip north and for the next 6 months my mom was going through a nervous breakdown and I had to be the one who was making sure we were getting on n off the right buses. Since then, my mom and I have come a long way and we got a place in Trenton. We are slowly but surely getting back in the routine of daily life.
