Hi, I'm Lex. I recently moved to Morganton for my new job as a journalist. I've been writing since I was a kid, and I hope to publish novels one day. I'm also a huge animal lover and a theatre/movie junkie. I treat my two pets like kids, and I hope to have a few dogs and horses in the near future.I'm both quiet and outgoing. Some days, I enjoy staying indoors and reading a book or working on my writing. I like working on dot-to-dot books and watching marathons of my favorite television shows. Other days, I must be outdoors, roaming through the woods, rafting down a river, checking out a waterfall or swimming in the surf of the Outer Banks. I believe volunteering is important, and I've volunteered at several animal shelters in the past. I plan to begin volunteering at the WNC Nature Center in Asheville soon. Also, my latest goal is to visit as many zoos in the United States as possible.I want a romantic partner who will be my friend in life. He must love animals, be willing to sit through a Broadway musical or stage play, enjoy reading my stories and be able to appreciate the quiet moments of life like sitting in silence on the porch reading, as much as the great moments of activity.
