I'm a recent college graduate who just finished up a degree in mechanical engineering. If it's geeky I'm into it. Star Trek, Anime, D&D and Pathfinders, video games you name it. I'm pretty easy-going about life and try to just take things as they come without worrying too much about the what-ifs.For the most part I'm open emotionally. I don't wear my heart on my sleeve, but ask me about something and I will be completely honest and open with about it, including telling you that I'm not comfortable answering your question.I am also a bit old school when it comes to communication. I prefer to talk to somebody face to face over calling them, calling over e-mailing, and e-mailing over IMing and texting. I think e-mailing, IMing and texting are a fine way to initially get to know someone but at some point I like to meet in person.Currently I just landed my first job as an engineer and am working on starting my career. Other than that I'm trying to improve my skills in video editing so I can make my own AMVs, speaking Japanese, and karate and historical European martial arts (i.e. learning to hit things with swords). In terms of entertainment I listen to a lot of Weird Al and other parody/silly music (They Might Be Giants, Paul and Storm, etc.) as well as some J-Pop/Rock/other genres, I read a lot of manga, as well as Sci-Fi and fantasy (I'm currently on my second read through of the Dresden File series), and books on the history of science/technology/engineering. For Movies and Television, again I watch a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy and a ton of anime. That's mostly about it. I also play video games. I'm a sucker for a good free-to-play MMO. I"m also a Nintendo fanboy mostly because Legend of Zelda which is my favorite games series to date. I'm also working on catching up on a back log other games I've missed over the past decade including, Assassin's Creed, Halo, the Tales games, Mass Effect etc.
