Good natured, self reliant, witty intellectual women, faithful to my family and friends. I love to travel and explore new places. I have been to Washington DC, the Caribbean, and like many New Yorker's I have been to Florida several times. I enjoy working out and by that I mean doing Zumba on my Xbox. I like to learn new things. I am constantly reading new books. I believe a mind is a terrible thing to waste. I am old school, I listen to a lot of 90's music which happens to be, in my opinion, the best decade of music, followed by the 80's. I cannot lie the 80's had great music but bad fashion statements. I love movies, but lately have not had the time to go to a theater for one major reason...they are too long. Three hours to sit and watch a movie...I have better things to do with my time. Don't get me wrong, if there is a movie that I really want to watch I will go to the movies. Otherwise I wait until it comes out on DVD and request it from my library. Yes, I am a library aficionado. I go to my library for books, movies, audiobooks etc. I am there so much the librarian's know me by first name. I am an animal lover, I have 2 cats that I absolutely adore. Would like to have a dog but I do not have enough room in my apartment. Other than that I am a down to earth women, and believe when things go don't work out in life there's always a silver lining.
