I moved to Florida from Boston in 2000. I have a pretty wonderful life. Yes, I descend from the Mayflower but I'm not like them in any way. Politically I'm a progressive (you know, the people who made this country great) and that's hard to find down here in La La Land. I respect all religions and all points of view except the the "Tea Party" conservatives. I really don't get them.I love music, all of it really except for rap and heavy metal. I go to the opera and I go to reggae concerts and almost everything in between.I love to travel and I've been from China to England to Italy; my favorite is Scotland where I was married. I love to travel for what I learn. Traveling is my favorite thing to do but I always love coming home.I had a perfect role model for the perfect man: my father. He was very smart but never flaunted it. He was kind and thoughtful and affectionate and very generous. He had that special gift of being able to talk with anyone on any level and make them feel special, from the local fishermen on Cape Cod to CEO's of Fortune 500 companies. He was my star.Eventually, I'm looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with, but first I want a friend, then a best friend, then a soul mate then, possibly, a husband. I need to laugh every day; that is very, very important to me.
